MoveWriter 2.0.2: French-Canadian Keyboard and a Scrollbar Fix
MoveWriter 2.0.2 is out with two small updates, both from user requests.
French-Canadian keyboard layout
A user reached out about adding a Canadian French keyboard layout, so this release adds it to the menu of options. It follows the Canadian Multilingual Standard (CSA): direct é, è, and à keys, and the ç where CSA puts it.
That brings the total to 25 supported layouts: US English, UK English, German, French, French-Canadian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Swiss German, Swiss French, Belgian, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Greek, and Hebrew.
If your language isn't on the list, send me a note. Adding a layout is straightforward if it's supported.
A scrollbar for shorter screens
On a smaller or lower-resolution display, the bottom of the MoveWriter window - including the Native App section - could fall off-screen with no way to scroll down to it.
Now the app adds a scrollbar whenever the window is taller than your screen, so every section stays reachable. On a larger display it stays hidden, same as before.
How to update
If you already have MoveWriter installed:
- Download MoveWriter 2.0.2
- Replace your old version
- Connect to your Move
Your existing keyboard pairing and language settings are preserved.
Both of these came straight from emails, which is how most of these small updates happen. So keep them coming.
Thanks! -Vik
